Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test is a state-level test and also known as TS EAMCET. The exam is conducted for admission to various professional courses offered in many Universities and Private Engineering, Medical & Agriculture institutions in the Telangana state of India.
The Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and MedicalCommon Entrance Test is administered by JNTU Hyderabad for candidates wishing to continue their studies at private and government colleges in Telangana. The entrance test is conducted annually.
Conducting Body: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) conducts the TS EAMCET. The entrance test is conducted in Online mode. The following mentioned detail is regarding the B.Tech course.

Selection Procedure: There is only one stage in TS EAMCET for candidates to qualify for admission:

Written Test
Exam Pattern: The examination is conducted in Online mode and contains MCQ type questions. The question paper is set in English and Telugu Language. The paper is divided into 3 sections namely Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. The total no. of questions are 160. The total time duration of the examination is 03 hours. The exam pattern in detail is as follows:

No upper age limit but lower age limit vary as per the applied course. Candidates are advised to refer to the website regarding the same.

The lower age limit for the B.Tech course is 16 years.

Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology as optional subjects.

Candidates must have a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 (40% for Reserved category) taken together.

Candidates appearing in the 10+2 examination are also eligible to apply.

Only candidates having a Domicile certificate of Telangana are eligible to apply. The requirements of Non - Local/Local status is laid down by regulations of Admission in the Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
