Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test is organized by the Centralized Admission Cell, Bengaluru. The Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test is conducted in one stage:

Written test
Written Test:- It is an Online as well as Offline test. The total questions are 150 and the total marks are 150. The duration is 2 hours 30 minutes for each part to complete the exam. The exam is Objective and Multiple Choice Type. There is no Negative Marking.

Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test Eligibility Criteria:
Age: Candidate's age must be between 18 to 40 years.
Educational Qualification:

Secondary examination with a minimum of 50% marks. (Relaxation of 45% for Reserved category).

Senior/Higher Secondary or it's equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.ED) Or
-
Senior/Higher Secondary or it's equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.ED). Or

Senior/Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India. Or

Ques 1. I want to apply for Karnataka TET. So, I need to know about the age limit for apply?
Ans: Age limit to apply for Karnataka TET:

General male and female- 35 years.

OBC male and female-38 years.

SC / ST male and female-42 years.
However, relaxation of 3 years is given to OBC candidates and 5 years to SC/ ST candidates.
