All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) AIIMS Nursing Entrance Examination is organized by New Delhi at the national level. This examination acts as the gateway for admissions to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses provide by the affiliated nursing institutes.
Conducting Body: AIIMS is a group of independent government public medical colleges of higher education. The institutes have been certified by an Act of Parliament as Institutes of National Importance. AIIMS New Delhi, institute, was founded in 1956.

Exam Pattern:
For B.Sc (H) Nursing: The exam has 100 multiple choice type questions divided into 4 sections (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Knowledge). The total time duration is 2 hours.

For B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic): The selection process is divided into 2 stages:

Written Test: In this test has 70 objective type questions of 1 mark each. There is a provision of? negative marking for each wrong answer. The total time duration is 90 minutes. It is a screening round. The topics from which the questions will be framed in this section are: Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing including Anatomy, Physiology & Pharmacology, Obstetrics Nursing and Midwifery, Paediatric Nursing, Professional Trends in Nursing, Community Health Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing

Assessment Test/Interview: The shortlisted applicants will be called for the assessment/interview round. This round carries 30 marks. Applicants will have to qualify this round as well to secure a spot in the final merit list. These are a few aspects on which the assessment of a candidate will be done:

Past academic performances including nursing examinations.

Professional performance as a staff nurse.
Final Merit List:- The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the individual performances of the applicant in both stages.
For B.Sc (Paramedical Courses): The paper would have multiple choice type questions. The total time duration would be 01 hour 30 minutes (90 minutes). The paper would feature questions from Physics,
Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology.
For M.Sc Nursing: The M.Sc Nursing entrance examination is of 90 minutes duration and has 90 objective type questions carrying 1 mark each.
Eligibility:
- Age Limit: Less than 17 years
- Educational Qualification:
For B.Sc (H) Nursing: 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with 55% (General/OBC candidates) and 50% (SC/ST candidates).
For B.Sc (Paramedical Courses): 10+2 or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics as their main subjects with 50% (General/OBC candidates) and 45% (SC/ST candidates) marks.
For B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic):

10+2 or equivalent.

Applicants who have passed (10+1) on or before 1986 are also eligible.

Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery.

Registration as a nurse, RM (Registered Midwife), RN (Registered Nurse) with any State Nursing Council.

In case of male nurses beside being registered as a nurse with the State Nursing Council, should have obtained a certificate in General Nursing and instead of Training in Midwifery, training in any subject out of following, for a period of six months: i) O.T. Techniques, ii) Ophthalmic Nursing, iii) Leprosy Nursing, iv) TB Nursing, v) Psychiatric Nursing, vi) Neurological and Neurosurgical Nursing, vii) Community Health Nursing, viii) Cancer Nursing, ix) Orthopedic Nursing
For M.Sc Nursing:

B.Sc (H) Nursing/B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic)/B.Sc Nursing (Post-Certificate)/B.Sc Nursing (4-year) with 60% (General/OBC candidates) and 55% (SC/ST candidates) marks.

Registration as a nurse, RN (Registered Nurse), RM (Registered Midwife) with any State Nursing Council.

The Difference between Eukaryota & Prokaryotic etc.

Chemistry: Chemistry in Everyday Life, Polymers, P -Block Elements, D & F -Block Elements, General Principles & Processes of Isolation of Elements, Solid State, Biomolecules, Solutions, Chemical Kinetics, Electrochemistry, Surface Chemistry, Organic Compounds containing Nitrogen, Coordination Compounds, Keystones and Carboxylic Acids, Alcohols, Phenol & Esther, etc.

FAQs:
Ques 1. Is there any negative marking in the exam?
Ans. Yes, 0.33 marks will be deducted.
Ques 2. Can we change the allotted centre of the examination?
Ans. No, once the application form is submitted, there will be no option for change in the allotted exam center.
Ques 3. If we marked any question for review, what does it mean?
Ans. Questions marked for review shall be considered as Unanswered unless Saved. No credits will be given for it.
Ques 4. What should be the educational qualification for the M.Sc. level course?
Ans. The applicants should have done B.Sc (Post Basic) or B.Sc. (Hons.) in nursing.
Ques 5. What is the age limit for the B.Sc. level course?
Ans. The age limit should be 17 years of age by December 31st, 2019.
Ques 6. One of my male friends is interested to apply for the exam. Can he fill the form in the given time?
Ans. No, male applicants are not eligible to apply for the exam. Only the female applicants are qualified for the exam.
Ques 7. Is there any reservation of seats in the exam?
Ans. Yes, there is a reservation of seats in the AIIMS Nursing exams. For OBC candidates – 27% seats, for SC - 15% seat and for ST - 7.5% seats!
Ques 8. What is PARA?
Ans. Interested applicants who will be applying for AIIMS admission will have to enroll themselves twice. With the help of Prospective Applicants, Advanced Registration known as PAAR applicants will now be able to register for the AIIMS entrance examination six months before the examination. Ques 9. When is the admit card of AIIMS B.Sc Nursing courses exam 2020 expected?
Ans: The AIIMS Admit Card 2020 will not be sent to students through offline modes. The AIIMS B.Sc courses entrance examination 2020 will be held in June 2020.
Ques 10. How many AIIMS will be allotted via AIIMS 2020 examination?
Ans. There are currently 15 All India Institute of Medical Sciences in India which will be allotted via the AIIMS 2020 entrance test.
