AMU( Aligarh Muslim Unversity) is an Indian Public University and was established as the 'Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College' in 1875. Being an institute of national importance under the seventh schedule of the Constitution of India the university provide courses in Traditional & Modern branches. The Aligarh Muslim University held the Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Examination (AMUEEE) among other exams annually for the aspirants who are seeking admission to the B.Tech, B.E. and B.Arch courses.

Conducting Body: Aligarh Muslim Unversity conducts Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Examination (AMUEEE) annually for applicants who are desirous to continue their study at AMU. The exam is held for candidates from all over India and is held in Offline mode.

Selection Procedure: Following is the section of the exam:

• Written Test 

Exam Pattern:

- B.Tech courses:

The examination is held in Offline mode. The question paper consists of 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions of 150 marks that applicants need to complete in a duration of three hours.  

Note:- 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 marks gets deducted.

- B.E course:

The examination is held in Offline mode. The question paper consists of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions of 100 marks that applicants need to complete in a duration of two hours.  

- B.Arch course:

There are two papers for applicants looking for admissions in the Architecture branch. Paper-1 is the same as that for the B.Tech course. Paper-2 test the Architecture Aptitude of the applicants and contains Descriptive type questions.

The total time for the B.Arch programme is 03 hours duration. The test is divided into two papers - Paper I and Paper II. Paper 1 consist of 150 MCQ type questions of 150 marks and Paper II is an Architecture Aptitude Test which contains some Descriptive questions and Test of Drawing.

- Age Limit:- Upper age limit is 21 years.

- Educational Qualification:

• 10+2 or equivalent with 50% aggregate marks with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as main subjects.

• Diploma in engineering through Aligarh Muslim University with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
