Overview
The Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER) organizes the Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination (BEEE) for admissions to the various engineering courses at the graduation and post-graduation level offered by the university. Located in Chennai India, BIHER is a deemed university and an Indian institute of higher education. It is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Conducting Body: The Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination (BEEE) is conducted by the Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER). BIHER oversees admissions to various engineering courses offered by the University and conducts BEEE annually.

Selection Procedure: There is only one stage in BEEE for candidates to qualify for admission:

Objective Test
Exam Pattern: The examination is conducted in both modes i.e. Online mode as well as Offline mode and contains Objective Type questions. The question paper comprises four sections namely English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. Each section is 30 marks except English which is 10 marks. The total time duration of the examination is 02 hours and 30 minutes. The following table explains the paper pattern in detail:-

- Age Limit:- Upper age limit is 25 years.
- Educational Qualification:
For B.Tech/Bio-Tech:

10+2 with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics/Biology and Chemistry put together.

Diploma with 50 % aggregate or B.Sc (Mathematics) or it's equivalent.
For M.Tech:
-
B.E./B.Tech or equivalent with at least 60% marks in the aggregate or equivalent CGPA score for respective courses.
