Overview
Department of Training and Technical Education CET (DTTE) is held every year for admission into different Diploma courses in Polytechnic (Engineering & Non Engineering) offered by several colleges or institutes of Delhi. It is a state level entrance exam which is organized for providing admissions through Lateral Entry in full time Diploma Engineering Programs. Through this CET (DTTE) entrance exam, 85 % of seats are reserved for Delhi applicants and 15 % for outside Delhi applicants.

Department of Training and Technical Education CET (DTTE) Exam Pattern:
The Delhi CET Exam is conducted in Offline mode (Pen and paper mode). The exam consists of 150 MCQs. For Pharmacy, there are 210 questions out of which candidates have to answer only 150 questions. The time duration to complete the paper is of 2 hours 30 minutes. 01 mark is deducted for every wrong answer. 4 marks are awarded for each right answer. The Delhi Polytechnic exam pattern is as follows:

Department of Training and Technical Education CET (DTTE) Eligibility Criteria:
- Test-1:- For 10th based Diploma Courses (Engineering or Non-Engineering):

Applicants should have passed class 10th or Metric /its equivalent exam from CBSE Board and secured 35% marks in aggregate in Mathematics, Science and English.
- Test-2:- For Modern Office Practice: English (12th based) and 1-year certificate courses in Hospitality Operations, Finance Executive and Retail Services (12th Based):

Applicants should have passed class 12th or its equivalent from CBSE Board with minimum 45% marks and 40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST Category in aggregate in the best 3 subjects including English.

Applicants should have passed class 12th /its equivalent from CBSE Board with minimum 45% marks and 40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST Category in aggregate in best 3 subjects including Hindi.

Applicants need to pass class 12th or its equivalent test recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India from CBSE with minimum 45% marks and 40% for SC/ST Category in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Biology.
- Test-5:- For Lateral Entry of ITI or 12th (Vocational Stream):

Applicants should have cleared analogues 12th Vocational Engineering stream from CBSE / its equivalent with minimum 60% marks in aggregate / Candidate should have cleared class 10th along with 2 years of ITI (Engineering) from it is with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
