CMC Vellore, also known as Christian Medical College Vellore, is a private educational and research institute that includes a network of primary, secondary and tertiary care hospitals in and around Vellore, TamilNadu, India. CMC is a minority-run institute and is affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University. CMC organizes the entrance exam for various UG/PG/Diploma/Fellowship programs. 

Conducting Body: Christian Medical College Vellore conducts a CMC Vellore Entrance Exam for various UG/PG/Diploma/Fellowship programs offered by the Institute. The CMC Entrance is conducted annually. The following mentioned detail is regarding the MBBS course.

Selection Procedure: There is only one stage in the CMC Entrance exam for candidates to qualify for admissions:

• Objective Test

Exam Pattern: The examination is conducted in Online mode and contains Objective type questions. There are four sections in the exam namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Ability having 60 questions for each section. The medium in which the exam is conducted in English. The time duration of the examination is 2 hours for PCB & 70 minutes for General Ability. The following table explains the paper pattern in detail:

Candidates can apply in Online mode via visiting the official website but the filled form must be sent to the registrar office along with required documents.

The application form can be filled in Online mode. Candidates desirous to apply for the test can apply in Online mode from the official website. Following are the steps to apply that must be followed while filling the form:

• Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website and register themselves for the test. In this process, some basic information is asked. After providing these pieces of information candidates must click on the Register button.

• Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.

• Application Form Filling: After verification, Candidates can fill the application form through their provided LoginI.d and Password. 

• Uploading Documents: In this step, candidates are asked to upload the scanned copies of their documents. The candidates must submit all the required documents (Photograph and Signature).

• Payment of application fee: The last step is the payment and to apply successfully candidates must make the payment.

After completing the process, the candidate must take a print out and send it to the registrar office.
