The GITAM (Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management) Admission Test also known as GITAM GAT is an entrance exam conducted by the GITAM Deemed University. The University offers admissions for candidates in Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs into Architecture, Technology and Pharmacy disciplines at Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Visakhapatnam campuses. The entrance exam is conducted in Online mode.

Conducting Body: The GITAM Admission Test (GITAM GAT) is a university-level exam conducted by the GITAM Deemed University for admissions at 3 campuses. The University conducts the entrance exam annually for desirous candidates.

Selection Procedure: There is only one stage in GITAM GAT for candidates to appear:

• Written Test

Pattern: The GITAM GAT examination is conducted in Online mode and contains MCQ type questions. The time limit of the examination is 02 hours. The question paper is set in the English Language and is divided into three sections. The detailed paper pattern is as follows:-

Note: There is a provision of Negative Marking. 01 mark from the total allotted mark gets deducted for each wrong answer.

The application form can be filled in Online mode. Candidates desirous to apply for the test can apply in Online mode from the official website. Following are the steps to apply that must be followed while filling the form:

• Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website and register themselves for the test. In this process, some basic information is asked. After providing these pieces of information candidates must click on the Register button.

• Application Form Filling: After registration, Candidates can fill the application form through their provided Login I.d and Password. 

• Uploading Documents: In this step, candidates are asked to upload the scanned copies of their documents. The candidates must submit all the required documents.

• Payment of application fee: The last step is the payment and to apply successfully candidates must make the payment.

GITAM Admission Test (GITAM GAT) Admit Card

The admit cards for the entrance exam will be available in Online mode after booking the slot. The cards will not be sent to any student by post. The admit card is a mandatory document for the test and the candidate must carry it to the exam center along with an I.D proof such as Driving License, Voter Card, PAN Card, Aadhar Card.
