JEMAT stands for Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test, a management entrance exam conducted by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). This exam is conducted on behalf of the Government of West Bengal. The exam is conducted for admissions to PGDM /MBA courses in more than 44 Government and Private MBA Colleges in West Bengal.

The Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology conducts the Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) entrance exam. This exam is a state level  exam and is conducted in Offline mode.

The exam is conducted in Offline (Pen & paper based) mode. The questions are Objective type and the total no. of questions are 100. The paper is divided into 3 sections: Mathematics, Reasoning, and English.

Personal Interview: Candidates after qualifying the written test are invited for the PI round.

• Candidates from any country can apply.

• Nationality certificate is to be submitted by NRI/ Foreign candidates.

• Candidates from Nepal and Bhutan must submit a No Objection certificate from their High Commission along with the Form hardcopy.

- Educational Qualifications:

• The candidate must have a bachelor degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate in any subject from a recognized university.

• Candidates in final year graduation can also eligible to apply. He/she must provide the final year mark-sheet at the time of admission.

- Age:

• There is no age limit for the exam.

- Number of Attempts:

• There is no limit for the number of attempts for the exam.
