Overview
The MCAT ( Medical College Admission Test) also known as is a standardized examination for students in admission to medical courses in different countries across the globe, particularly in the colleges of Australia and Carribean Island ,United States, Canada. The examination is held to select the skill medical schools. Established in 1928 the examination is administered by the Association of American Medical Colleges.
Conducting Body: The Medical College Admission Test is a standardized test conducted by the Association of American Medical Colleges or AAMC for the students who are seeking admission to Medical courses. MCAT is conducted twenty five time in a yearand the registration is open throughout the year.
Selection Procedure: The candidates wishing to qualify MCAT must clear the following stage:

Exam Pattern: The MCAT Test consists of a multiple choice type question paper and the total duration of exam is 07 hours and 30 minutes (including break). The exam consists for four parts namely 1)Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems; 2)Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems ; 3)Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills;and 4)Psychological, Social and Biological Foundations of Behavior and each section is individually scored. Each section tests between 50 and 60 questions and time duration is 90 or 95 minutes. The detailed examination pattern is as follows:-

Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit: No Age Limit.
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates interested in different fields i.e, Osteopathic, Allopathic, Podiatric and Veterinary are eligible for the MCAT test.
- Applicants from Canada and U.S must have a Undergraduate degree to be done for the exam.
- International candidates must have completed or pursuing MBBS.
- Applicants appearing for MCAT for purposes other than pursuing a career in medicine must get permission from AAMC authorities.

Ques 1. What is the purpose of MCAT?
Ans. The exam should taken by students who take admission to Medical colleges particularly in Australia, Canada , United Statesand other countries. The exam is designed by the applicants who skilled in basic science, verbal reasoning, and writing ability.

Ans. Payment can be made through valid MasterCard, VISA and Credit Card.
Ques 4. What is the scoring method for the MCAT exam?
Ans. The score ranges between 472 – 528 .
Ques 5. What does an optional break mean?
Ans. It means the candidate can go to the next section if the previous section is finished early and candidate wish to skip the break. But the remaining time from a finished section or a skipped break does not carry over to the next section of the exam.
Ques 6. Is Calculator allowed?
Ans. No, there is no such provision.
Ques 7. In what language the exam is conducted?
Ans. The MCAT test is held in English language only.
Ques 8. Is there any limit on attempts for MCAT?
Ans. The test can be conduct a maximum of 3 times in a one year; 4 times in a two year period and 7 times in a Lifespan.

Ans. The exam is conducted twenty five times in a year and the registration is open throughout the year.
Ques 10. How long does it take to get the result?
Ans. Scores are calculated approximately 30-35 days after each test day.
Ques 11. Can a candidate opt out of the exam at the same day(the day exam is being conducted)?
Ans. Candidates can void the exam on the same day if the they are not satisfied with their performance. The test can be void at any time during the exam. The decision to be void only in the candidate's self-assessment, as no scoring information is available at the time.
Ques 12. How long are MCAT marks valid?
Ans. The marks are valid for 2 to 3 years. .
