Overview

Christ (Christ University )  is a private deemed university in Bengaluru, India.  Christ University provide nationally and internationally recognised undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes. The School of Law Christ University (SLCU), official known as  Christ College of Law, is the law school for Christ University Bengaluru,India and is approved by the Bar Council of India to conduct the five year integrated BA LLB and a five-year BBA LLB programmes. 

Conducting Body: The SLCU, Bangalore held  the SLCU Law Entrance Exam annually for providing admissions to the students to the different law courses. The courses on offer are- 5-year integrated BA-LLB, LLM, M.Phil,BBA-LLB(Honours),  and P.hD . The examination is held in the month of April.

Selection Procedure:- The admission is granted to the candidates after they qualify each of the following shortlisting rounds:-

  • Entrance Test
  • Personal Interview
  • Academic Performance Assessment

Exam Pttern: The examination is held Offline. The total time duration is Two hour (120 minutes) and have 100 Objective type questions divided into 2 sections. The detailed exam pattern is as follows:-

Note:- There is a provision of negative marking. 0.25 marks shall be deducted .

- Personal Interview:- The applicants face a Personal Interview round which is managed by the experts, during this round. This test is also held in Bengaluru, NCR, and Kolkata.

- Academic Performance Assessment:-  The past academic performance of the candidate in their class 10th, 12th, graduation and M.Phil. is required during the final selection process.

Eligibility:

- Age Limit:- No age limit.

- Educational Qualification: 

  • M.Phil and Post-graduation in law or related discipline with at least 55% aggregate marks.
  • UGC-CSIR/NET/JRF qualified students are exempted from conditions of possessing M.Phil.
  • SLET/GATE qualified candidates who have worked as JRF for at least one year on an externally funded research project are also exempted from conditions of possessing M.Phil.
