Ques 1. Are there any reservations for the OBC?
Ans. No, there are no reservations for the OBC. Applicants belonging to the OBC section must apply under the Open category.
Ques 2. Do we need to pay anything other than the registration fee?
Ans. A candidate is required to make a separate non-refundable payment of 1,000/- per programme per Institute in addition to the application fee of 2000/- towards SITEEE.
Ques 3. Can I pay for the Institutes after the exam results?
Ans. Yes, but different Institutes have different deadlines for paying the registration fees for the programmes they offer. You can check the same on the website of the respective Institute(s).
Ques 4. Do we need to apply separately for the Institutes on their websites?
Ans. No. You may pay the registration fee for the Institute(s) through the SET registration portal itself.
Ques 5. Can I make any changes in the online application form?
Ans. Stage 1: Before paying the registration fee – You may perform any modification in the form on your own EXCEPT in the following fields: Category / Mobile Numbers / Name / Date of Birth/ email
Stage 2: After paying the registration fee – You may perform a modification in the form on your own ONLY in the following fields: Address / SSC, HSC details / Preferred Test City / Gender / Nationality / Photo as well as making payment for additional Test (if paid for only one) / Institutes/ programmes.
If you want to make any modifications in the online application form that you cannot on your own, you may mail us at info@set-test.org specifying the concerned changes (make sure to mention your SET ID).
Stage 3: After the final date of Registration i.e. April 15, 2019 (Monday) – You cannot make any modification in the form EXCEPT for making payment for additional Institutes/ programmes as per their timelines.
Ques 6. When I am trying to log in it is showing User already logged in?
Ans. If you are getting "User already logged in" error then please close your browser & tab and try to log in after one hour, i.e. till after the session expires. You will be able to log in successfully thereafter.
Ques 7. Do you have admission based on lateral entry?
Ans. Parallel admissions are subject to vacancy. You can check the same with the respective Institute(s).
Ques 8. Is there any scholarship available?
Ans. Yes. Visit the official website for further details.
Ques 9. What is the age limit to apply for the exam?
Ans. There is no restriction on age or number of attempts for appearing in SITEEE.
