Overview

State Talent Search Examination or STSE is a scholarship test organized by the Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer for students who want to pursue an education in further studies for professional study. The examination is conducted annually for students studying from class 10 to class 12 from boards recognized by the examining authority such as State Govt. schools, KV, NVS. The scholarship is provided up to the maximum postgraduate level.

Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer (Rajasthan) conducts the State Talent Search Examination for meritorious students. The examination is conducted in Offline mode.

State Talent Search Examination (STSE) Selection Procedure: Following are the stages to qualify the test:

  • Written Test

State Talent Search Examination (STSE) Exam Pattern:

The examination is conducted in Offline (pen paper based) mode. The time duration is different for each part. The questions are Objective type and the exam is conducted in English and Hindi languages. The test is divided into 03 sections. The detailed exam pattern is as follows:-

State Talent Search Examination (STSE) Eligibility Criteria:

- Age Criteria:

  • There is no age limit to appear for the test.

- Educational Criteria:

  • Students studying in class 10th and 12th are eligible to apply.

  • The minimum marks in class 9th for students studying in class 10th and in class 11th for students studying in class 12th must be 50%.

Ques 1. How can a candidate apply for the STSE?

Ans. A candidate can apply Online through their school only for the test.

Ques 2. Is it necessary to fill the application form separately for the stages?

Ans. There is no such requirement.

Ques 3. Can a candidate edit the application form after submission?

Ans. No, it can't be done once the form is submitted and the application fee is paid.

Ques 4. Does STSE send the admit card to the communication address which is mentioned on the application form?

Ans. The admit cards for STSE are issued in Online mode and students can download it by providing their school login id and password.

Ques 5. What are the documents a candidate needs with the admit card for the exam?

Ans. There is no additional requirement but the card must contain the signature and stamp of the Head of Institution.

Ques 6. Is there any percentage required to apply for the test?

Ans. Candidates must have scored 50 % in the 9th/11th standard.

Ques 7. Is there negative marking in the exam?

Ans. There is no negative marking.

Ques 8. Is the STSE exam conducted online or offline?

Ans. The exam is conducted in Offline mode.

Ques 9. Which category is exempted from payment of examination fee?

Ans. There is no provision of fee exemption.
