Overview
The Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth is organizing a Combined VidyaVridhi Entrance Test (VVET). This exam is a National level entrance exam held to select eligible and desiring male and female applicants for admissions in Ph.D. in Sanskrit. Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the VVET. Post Graduation in Sanskrit or its allied branches passed applicants are suitable to appear in the VVET. Desiring applicants can apply for the exam online through the official website. Applicants are required to qualify the offline written exam to undergo the next stage.
VVET Entrance Exam Conducting Body:
The VVET (VidyaVridhi Entrance Test) is a national level exam organized by the Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth in offline mode. Applicants eager to appear and enter are required to qualify the offline exam. The exam is held once in a year.

VVET Entrance Exam Selection Procedure: The selection process of VVET is on the basis of the following rounds:

The selection of candidates purely depends on merit depending on performance in the above mentioned Offline test.
VVET Entrance Exam pattern: The exam is conducted in Offline mode. The paper is divided into 2 parts: Paper 1 and Paper 2. The total time duration is 03 hours (01 hour 30 minutes for each paper). The questions are asked from Sanskrit and its allied branches.

Age Criteria: The upper age limit is 30 years. There is relaxation for Reserved Candidates as per Government rules and regulations.

Educational Qualification: Candidates having minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Post Graduation in Sanskrit and its allied branches from a recognized board are eligible to apply. There is relaxation of marks for Reserved categories as per Government rules and regulations.
