Overview

Bihar Polytechnic Entrance Exam is also known as Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE). It is organized by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECE Board). The DCECE is providing admissions to shortlisted applicants into various Polytechnic courses in the field of Engineering, Pharmacy, Office Management, Paramedical. The shortlisted applicants are offered seats by the various Government and Non Government Polytechnic Institutions in Bihar.

- Nationality or Residence:

• The candidates must be a permanent resident of Bihar state.

• The candidates must be Indian Citizens.

- Educational Qualification Criteria:

• Candidates appearing for the 10th Board can apply for this exam.

- Polytechnic Engineering (PE):

• Exam: Passed 10th or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 35% marks.

• Age Limit: No age limit.

- Part-Time Polytechnic Engineering (PPE):

• Exam: Passed 10th or its equivalent exam with 2 years ITI course or Passed 10th or its equivalent exam with experience of 2 years.

• Age Limit: The age limit is to be19 years.

- Para Medical-Dental (PMD-10th level):

• Exam: Passed 10th or its equivalent exam from ICSE /CBSE and recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.

• Age Limit: The age limit must be Minimum 15 years & Maximum30 years.

- Para Medical Intermediate Level (PM-12th level):

• Exam: Passed 12th or its equivalent exam from PCB /PCM and English subject.

• Age Limit: The age limit must be Minimum 17 years & Maximum 32 years.

• Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website and register themselves for the test. In this process, some basic information is asked. After providing these pieces of information candidates must click on the Register button.

• Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.

• Application Form Filling: After verification, Candidates can fill the application form through their provided LoginI.d and Password. 

• Uploading Documents: In this step, candidates are asked to upload the scanned copies of their documents. The candidates must submit all the required documents.

• Payment of application fee: The last step is the payment and to apply successfully candidates must make the payment.
