Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur organise the Chhattisgarh State Eligibility Test. The exam is held with an aim to hire eligible applicants for the post of Assistant Professor in any of the Govt University of Chhattisgarh State.The test is organized in two parts on the same day: Paper I and Paper II. Aspirants desirous to appear in the exam can apply in online mode.

Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGVYAPAM) is a Government body in Chhattisgarh state, which conducts various tests for admission to licensed courses and streams. It also held various recruitment exams for filling up various State Govt. posts.

• The applicant Selection process will be done based on the performance in the CG SET Entrance Exam conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur.

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on marks scored in the Entrance Exam.

Educational Qualifications:

• Applicants should have a PG degree from recognized university/institute by UGC.

• The candidate must have passed with 55% marks.

• Applicants who have given or will be giving the qualifying Master’s Degree in final year exam, whose qualifying exam has been delayed or whose result is still expected are also qualified for the exam.

• Applicants with a reserved category will be getting 5% relaxation.

Age Limit: There is no upper age limit.

Ques 1. What is the procedure for declaration of result?

Ans. The number of candidates passed (total slots or Eligibility for Assistant Professor) is equal to 6% of the applicants who appeared in both the papers. The total slots will be allotted to different sections as per the reservation policy of the Chhattisgarh Government.

Ques 2. How will I get the Admit card?

Ans. Candidates can download the CG SET Admit Card from the official website. No Physical Admit Card will be mailed to students by the post.

The application form can be filled in Online mode only. Candidates desirous to apply for the test can apply in Online mode from the official website.Following are the steps to apply that must be followed while filling the form:

• Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website and register themselves for the test. In this process, some basic information are asked. After providing this information candidates must click on the Register button.

• Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.

• Application Form Filling: After verification, Candidates can fill the application form through their provided LoginI.d and Password. 

• Uploading Documents: In this step, candidates are asked to upload the scanned copies of their documents. The candidates must submit all the required documents.

• Payment of application fee: The last step is the payment and to apply successfully candidates must make the payment. The payment can be made in online mode.

The CG SET releases the admit cards for the exam in Online mode. The link of the admit cards are sent to the registered emails and mobile numbers of the candidates.The admit card is a mandatory document for the test and the candidate must carry it to the exam center along with an I.Dproof such as Driving License, Voter Card, PAN Card, Aadhar Card.
