This exam is organized by the Office of the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), Ladakh. The purpose of this exam is to hire eligible and desiring applicants for the posts of Medical Officer, Pediatrician, Gynecologist and Anesthetiston a contractual basis. DHS Various Vacancy Exam Selection Procedure: The selection process of the DHS exam is given below:

  • Scrutiny of Candidates

  • Interview

  • Document Verification

The selection of the candidates purely depends on merit which is based on the performance in the above-mentioned rounds.

DHS Various Vacancy Exam Pattern: 

The recruitment is conducted in offline mode. The candidates get shortlisted on the basis of their percentage in MBBS and relevant experience. After getting shortlisted, the selected candidates are invited for the Interview round which is held at DHS headquarters. The selected candidates for the interview are three times to the posts. Candidates, after qualifying interview, get invited for the Document Verification round.

DHS Various Vacancy Exam Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age limit: The age limit is 21 years to 65 years as per their class 10th. The age relaxation to the SC/ST/OBC candidates is given as per government rules.

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates having minimum 50% marks in aggregate in MBBS with relevant experience from a recognized university/ institute are eligible to apply.
