Preliminary exam: The Preliminary Exam is Computer based. A total of 100 questions (MCQs) are asked from three sections - Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and English Knowledge. Each question contain 1 mark and there is separate sectional timing. 

Note: There is a provision of Negative Marking.0.25 of the total marks deducted. 

Main Examination:The Mains exam is also an Online Objective test. A total of 150 MCQs are asked. Each section have a separate timing. Descriptive Paper is also of Online nature and is taken immediately after the Online Objective Paper.

Applicants are required to appear for the Skill Test to assess speed and accuracy for Data Entry Work. The minimum requirement is 5000key depressions per hour. Applicants short-listed for Skill Test must appear for a Skill Test.

• Computer Skill Test is qualifying in nature. Marks obtained are not to be considered for merit ranking.

The application form can be filled in Online mode only. Candidates desirous to apply for the test can apply in Online mode from the official website. Following are the steps to apply that must be followed while filling the form:

• Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website at epfindia.gov.in and register. In this process, some basic information are asked. After providing this information, click on the Register button.

• Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.

• Application Form Filling: After verification, again login with provided credentials and fill the application form.

• Uploading Documents: In this step, upload the scanned copies of their documents. The candidates must submit all the required documents.
