Goa PSC Chief Electrical Engineer Exam FAQs:
Ques 1. When does the commission upload its annual calendar of examinations?
Ans. The annual calendar of examinations of the Commission for the next year is generally uploaded in the month of September/ October of the current year on the GPSC website.
Ques 2. What is the purpose of the GPSC Engineering exam?
Ans. The GPSC exam is a government job exam which is conducted by the Goa Public Service Commission for the recruitment of candidates on Engineering posts. The candidates are recruited at Permanent Service.
Ques 3. Does the Commission entertain the request for change of date of the examination if it clashes with exams of other organizations?
Ans. The Commission does not entertain the request for change of the examination date if it clashes with exams of other organizations, nor the request for the change of examination center and examination shift is entertained.
Ques 4. Is there any age limit for the GPSC exam?
Ans. The age limit is 21 years to 40 years.
Ques 5. Can the candidate make changes to the examination center?
Ans. No changes are allowed after submitting the form.
Ques 6. Is registration mandatory for applying to the examination?
Ans. Yes, One-Time registration is mandatory for all candidates.
Ques 7. What is the educational qualification for appearing in the GPSC exam?
Ans. Candidates having minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Postgraduation in Electrical Engineering and an officer of the State/ Central Government in any firm from a recognized university/ institute are eligible to apply. In addition to the qualification, the candidates must have knowledge of Konkani and Marathi language.
Ques 8. Which documents are required to fill the application form?
Ans. All Educational, Caste, Domicile related documents must be submitted at the time of documents verification.

Ans. The candidates can get the information from the official website.
Ques 10. Are girls eligible for joining the GPSC posts?
Ans. Yes, girls are eligible for joining the GPSC posts. Vacancies are released for both male and female candidates by GPSC.
