Overview
This Lecturer exam is organized by the Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC). The aim of this exam is to hire young and eligible applicants for Lecturer posts. GPSC Lecturer Exam Selection Procedure: The selection process of the GPSC exam is as follows:
• Offline Exam
• Interview
• Document Verification
The applicants are selected on the basis of their performance in the above-mentioned rounds.
GPSC Lecturer Exam- Exam Pattern:
Offline Exam: The exam is held in offline mode. The questions are objective type and the total time period given for the exam is 03 hours. The questions comprise of General studies, Concerned Subject. The total no. of questions are 300 and each question carries 01 mark.

Note: Negative marking will be done. 0.25 marks from the total allotted marks to each question get deducted for the wrong answer.
Interview: Qualified applicants from the offline exam are then called for the Interview round. The number of applicants in this round is three times to the posts.
GPSC Lecturer Exam Eligibility Criteria:
• Age limit: The age limit required is 21 years to 47 years as per their class 10th. Age relaxation is provided to the SC/ST/OBC applicants as per government rules.
• Educational Qualification: Applicants having least 50% marks in total in Postgraduation from a known university/ institute are suitable to apply.
