Himachal Pradesh PSC Civil Judge Exam Conducting Body:

The HPPSC exam is a state level exam conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission. The exam is conducted in offline mode and the candidates who wish to appear for HPPSC must qualify the Offline exam. The exam is conducted once in two years.

Himachal Pradesh PSC Civil Judge Exam Pattern: 

Preliminary Exam: The exam is conducted in offline mode. The questions are objective type and the total time duration for the exam is 02 hours. The questions consist of General Knowledge, Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning, General English, Computer, and Himachal Pradesh History. The total no. of questions are 100 and each question carries 01 mark. 

Note: There is a negative marking. 0.25 marks from the total allotted marks to each question gets deducted for the wrong answer. 

Mains Exam: The exam is conducted in offline mode. The questions are objective and subjective types and the total time duration for the exam is 03 hours. The questions consist of concerned subjects of Law.

Interview: The candidates, after qualifying the Pre and Mains exams, are invited for the Interview round. The number of candidates in this round is three times to the post.

• Age limit: The age limit is 22 years to 35 years as per their class 10th. The age relaxation to the SC/ST/OBC candidates is given as per government rules.

• Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website and register themselves for the test. In this process, some basic information are asked. After providing this information candidates must click on the Register button.

• Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.
