Overview
Indian Council of Agricultural Research is organizing a Stenographer and Lower Division Clerk exam. The exam is held for the recruitment of eligible and aspiring applicants for Steno and LDC posts. Indian Council of Agricultural Research - Stenographer and Lower Division Clerk Selection Procedure: The selection process of ICAR Exam is as follows:
• Written Test
• Typing Test
Indian Council of Agricultural Research - Stenographer and Lower Division Clerk Exam pattern: The offline examination is of Objective type. The questions will be available in English and Hindi languages. The applicants are selected on the basis of the two stages of recruitment. The exam consists of negative marking of 1/4th for the wrong answer.
For Stenographer:
• The Offline Exam comprises of one exam of 200 marks.

Typing Test - English typing at the speed of 35 wpm and Hindi typing at the speed of 30 wpm on computer.
Indian Council of Agricultural Research - Stenographer and Lower Division Clerk Eligibility criteria:
• Age Criteria: Applicants age must be between 20 to 30 years as per their class 10th. Age relaxation is given to SC/ST and OBC applicants as per government rules.
• Educational Qualification: Applicants having least 50% marks in total in Graduation, Post-graduation from a known board are suitable to apply. Marks relaxation is given to reserved categories as per government rules and regulations.
