Jammu & Kashmir Bank (Probationary Officers) or 'JK Bank PO' exam is a multiple stage exam managed by Jammu & Kashmir Bank to recruit Probationary Officers. This is a common exam held to recruit eligible applicants as a PO in various branches of the Bank.

It is to be kept in mind that the Prelims exam is separately timed. That is, separate time slots have been assigned for every section and applicants will have to attempt the particular sections throughout the designated time and complete them within that duration. For Prelims, 20 mins are given for each section. The total time span of the exam is 60 minutes i.e 1 hr.

JK Bank PO Mains exam includes 4 different sections which are given:

The Mains exam too is separately timed.

a. General / Financial Awareness: 35 minutes

b. Quantitative Aptitude: 45 minutes

c. Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude: 45 minutes

d. General English: 35 minutes

The total time span for the Main exam is 160 minutes.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Nationality:

The candidates should be a Permanent Resident of Jammu and Kashmir State.

- Age Limit:

Probationary Officer: At least the applicants should be 18 years and maximum age should be 30 years as on 01/01/2018.

Note: For PO, there is an age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen.

Banking Associate: Here at least the candidates should be 18 years and maximum age should be 32 years as on 01/01/2018.

Note: For Clerk, there is an age relaxation of 3 years for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen.

- Educational Qualification:

Probationary Officer: Graduate or Post-Graduate with 60% marks and above.

Banking Associate: Should have completed graduation or Post-graduation with 55% marks and above.
