Karnataka Bank PO Application Process

The application form can be filled in Online mode only. Candidates desirous to apply for the test can apply in Online mode from the official website. Following are the steps to apply that must be followed while filling the form:

• Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website and register themselves for the test. In this process, some basic information are asked. After providing this information candidates must click on the Register button.

• Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.

• Application Form Filling: After verification, Candidates can fill the application form through their provided LoginI.d and Password. 

• Uploading Documents: In this step, candidates are asked to upload the scanned copies of their documents. The candidates must submit all the required documents.

• Payment of application fee: The last step is the payment and to apply successfully candidates must make the payment. The payment can be made in online mode.

The KB releases the admit cards for the exam in Online mode. The link of the admit cards are sent to the registered emails and mobile numbers of the candidates.The admit card is a mandatory document for the test and the candidate must carry it to the exam center along with an I.D proofsuch as Driving License, Voter Card, PAN Card, Aadhar Card.

Ques 1. What is the level of the exam?

Ans. It is easy. In a 120 minutes time slot you have moderate questions. If you have a good command of Quant,  English, Reasoning it will be easy for you to crack the exam. The Computer section varies at times

Ques 2. What is the eligibility criteria for the exam?

Ans. The bank has specified the Karnataka Bank PO qualification criteria and candidates who meet these qualification criteria can apply for the job.

- Educational Qualification:

• Post Graduate candidates in any subject except candidates holding PG Diploma

• Graduate in Law or Agricultural Sciences as of 1st December 2018.

• Candidates who are expecting their results are not acceptable.

- Age:

• The age of the applicants should be at least 21 years.

• The upper age limit of the applicants should be 28 years.

• The candidates should not be born before 2nd December 1990 and not later than 1st December 1997.

• ForST/SC applicants the age limit will be relaxed for 5 years.

Ans: Yes, you are eligible. There is only one condition that when you are called for the interview, you will have to provide the proof of having cleared your graduation on the specified date notified by the bank authorities. 

Ques 4. I am awaiting my degree results. Am I eligible for the exam?

Ans: No, you are not eligible. Applicants who are awaiting their degree results or pursuing their degree are not eligible to apply for the bank PO exam.

Ques 5. I have scored 59.5% marks in graduation. Am I eligible for this exam?

Ans: In the official percentage requirement is not mentioned. If your college awards you with CGPA/OGPA, you will have to convert it into percentage and mention it in the online application.

Ans: Candidates should be able to speak in any one of the state local languages along with Hindi & English and should be computer literate.
