Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (Primary Teacher-Music) Selection Procedure:

The exam is conducted in three stages:

• Written Exam

• Performance Test

• Interview

Written Exam: It is an Offline test.The total questions are  150 and the total marks are 150. The duration is 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the exam. The exam is Objective and  Multiple Choice Type. There is no provision of Negative Marking.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (Primary Teacher-Music) Exam Pattern:

Interview: The Interview round is of 60 marks.The final merit list depends on the combined marks of the Written exam, Performance Test and the Interview.The weightage of Written Test, Performance Test and Interview will be 60:25:15 respectively.

Age Limit: Maximum 30 Years

Educational Qualification:

• Senior Secondary or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and

• Bachelor's Degree in  Music or equivalent from a recognised University.

• Competence to teach through English\Hindi medium

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (Primary Teacher-Music) Application Process

The application form can be filled in Online mode only. Candidates desirous to apply for the test can apply in Online mode from the official website. Following are the steps to apply that must be followed while filling the form:

• Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website and register themselves for the test. In this process, some basic information are asked. After providing this information candidates must click on the Register button.

• Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.

• Application Form Filling: After verification, Candidates can fill the application form through their provided LoginI.d and Password. 

• Uploading Documents: In this step, candidates are asked to upload the scanned copies of their documents. The candidates must submit all the required documents.

• Payment of application fee: The last step is the payment and to apply successfully candidates must make the payment. The payment can be made in online mode.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (Primary Teacher-Music) Admit Card

The KVS releases the admit cards for the exam in Online mode. The link of the admit cards are sent to the registered emails and mobile numbers of the candidates. The admit card is a mandatory document for the test and the candidate must carry it to the exam center along with an I.D proof such as Driving License, Voter Card, PAN Card, Aadhar Card.
