Manipur Teacher Eligibility Test is organized by Board of Secondary Education,Manipur. The purpose of this exam is to hire eligible applicants for the posts of teacher for classes 1 to 8 in govt/private schools in the state of Manipur. Candidates will be shortlisted from the score secured in the Manipur TET 2019. The final list is prepared based on the category wise cut off marks.Multiple choice type questions are ask in the exam. Every question is for 1 mark and there is no negative marking. There are two papers in the exam i.e. Paper I and Paper II in which 150 questions are asked.Candidates have to complete the exam in 1 and a half hours.

Educational Qualification:

The candidates should pass the upper Secondary examination with at least 50 marks.

The relaxation of 45 marks if the applicants belong to a reserved class.

1.Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent 10+2) with a minimum 50% score and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.ED)

OR

2.Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent 10+2) with a minimum 50% result and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.ED).

OR

3. Senior Secondary / Higher Secondary (or it's equivalent 10+2) with a minimum 50% score and having a Diploma in Education (Special Education), approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India(RCI).

OR

4. 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.ED) or Graduation. 

Age Criteria: Candidates should be at least 18 to a maximum of 30 years.

Child Development Pedagogy: Child Development (Primary School Children): Understanding Children with the special needs, Concept of Inclusive Education and Learning Pedagogy

Mathematics: Shapes,Numbers Algebra, Mensuration, Geometry, Arithmetic,  and Spatial Understanding

Language I: Perception-based questions  for language development

Language II (English): Understanding based question in English and advancement of language

Social Sciences/Social Studies: History,  Political &Social Life Geography, etc

Environmental Studies: Habitats,Water,Natural Resources, Solar System, Air, Parts of Body, Food Resource and Care, Our Surroundings

The application form can be filled in Online mode only. Candidates desirous to apply for the test can apply in Online mode from the official website. Following are the steps to apply that must be followed while filling the form:

• Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website and register themselves for the test. In this process, some basic information are asked. After providing this information candidates must click on the Register button.

• Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.

• Application Form Filling: After verification, Candidates can fill the application form through their provided LoginI.d and Password. 

• Uploading Documents: In this step, candidates are asked to upload the scanned copies of their documents. The candidates must submit all the required documents.

• Payment of application fee: The last step is the payment and to apply successfully candidates must make the payment. The payment can be made in online mode.

Manipur Teacher Eligibility Test Admit Card

The ManipurTET releases the admit cards for the exam in Online mode. The link of the admit cards are sent to the registered emails and mobile numbers of the candidates. The admit card is a mandatory document for the test and the candidate must carry it to the exam center along with an I.D proof such as Driving License, Voter Card, PAN Card, Aadhar Card.
