Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (Principal) exam is organized by the Ministry of Human Resources Development. The exam is held for the employment of eligible and desiring applicants for the posts of Principal in the schools under the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. This exam offers a good opportunity for aspiring and eligible applicants to make their careers as Principal. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti plays an important role in the selection of intelligent rural children and to provide them with good education. This exam is organized yearly.

Interview: The merit list depends on the combined marks of the Written exam and the Interview.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (Principal) Application Process: 

The application form can only be filled in online mode. Applicants who are eager to apply for the test can apply in online mode through the official website. The steps required to follow while filling the form are as follows:
 

• Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website and register themselves for the test. In this process, some basic information are asked. After providing this information candidates must click on the Register button.

• Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.

• Application Form Filling: After verification, Candidates can fill the application form through their provided LoginI.d and Password. 

• Uploading Documents: In this step, candidates are asked to upload the scanned copies of their documents. The candidates must submit all the required documents.

• Payment of application fee: The last step is the payment and to apply successfully candidates must make the payment. The payment can be made in online mode.

• After the payment is made the applicants should submit the application form. The applicants must keep a printout of the application form for future use.

The admit cards for the exam are issued by the NVS in online mode. The applicants can download the admit card through the official website after the date for the availability of the admit card is released. The aspirants must provide the required details asked, after providing the details the aspirants are able to download the admit card. The admit card is an compulsory document for the test and the aspirant is required to carry it to the exam center along with an I.D proof such as Driving License, Voter Card, PAN Card, Aadhar Card.
