Odisha Civil Services Exam (OCSE) is organized by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC). Preliminary Examination:- The preliminary examination is of Qualifying nature and is conducted Offline. The examination consists of two papers of Objective nature of a total duration of 2 hours each.The exam pattern is as follows:-

Note:- The applicants need to score a minimum of 33% in Paper-2 to be eligible for evaluation of their Paper-1. Paper-2 is of qualifying nature. The merit list is prepared on the basis of their performances in the Paper-1 only.

Interview:- The candidates who are shortlisted from the mains examinations are called for the Interview. The personal Interview carry 250 marks.The interview is conducted with the aim to access the awareness, intelligence, problem-solving ability and the suitability of the candidate towards the services.

Ans. No, application once submitted can't be changed. But a candidate can submit the fresh application with the correct details.

Ans. Yes. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from submission from fee.

Ans. Fee can be deposited in the form of cash challan in SBI branch only.

Ans. The photograph, signature and the Left Thumb Impression.
Ques 7. What should be the size & format of the scanned signature and the photograph?
Ans. The signature and the photograph should be in the JPEG format. The size of the photograph should be 25-100 kb and the size of the signature and the LTI should be 10- 50kb.
Ques 8. How many times a candidate can attempt for OPSC?
Ans. For General candidates there are 4 attempts but there is no limit for Reserved category.
