Overview
Odisha Police was formed on 01/April/1936. It organizes the examinations/interviews for appointments to Group ‘C and D’ services in Police. Odisha Police (OP) is organizing a Sub Inspector exam to recruit dynamic candidates in the Police department of Odisha. Odisha Police Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam Conducting Body:
The SI exam is a state level exam conducted by the Odisha Police Recruitment Board. The exam is conducted in online mode and the candidates who wish to appear for OP must qualify the online exam. Candidates who qualify online exam will be called for Physical test. The exam is conducted once in two years.

Odisha Police Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam Selection Procedure:
The selection process of the Sub Inspector exam is given below:
• Computer Based Recruitment Exam
• Physical Test (qualifying in nature)
• Document Verification
The selection of the candidates purely depends on merit which is based on the performance in the above mentioned rounds.
Odisha Police Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam Pattern:
The exam is conducted in online mode. There are two Papers i.e. Paper I and II. The questions are objective type. The questions consist of General Studies, General English, and Odia language. The total number of questions is 300 and each question carries 1 mark.

Odisha Police Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam Eligibility Criteria:
• Age limit: The age limit is 21 years to 25 years as per their class 10th. The age relaxation to the SC/ST/BC candidates is given as per government rules.
• Educational Qualification: Candidates having minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Graduation from a recognized university/ institute are eligible to apply.
