Overview
This exam is organized by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission(TNPSC). The purpose of this exam is to hire eligible applicants for the posts of Civil Judge. This exam presents a good opportunity for desiring applicants who want to make their careers in the Law Department. All Law Graduates or law postgaduates passed applicants are suitable to appear in the exam. Applicants can apply for the exam in online mode through the official website www.tnpsc.gov.in. Applicants are required to qualify the three stages of recruitment i.e. Stage 1(Prelims), Stage 2(MAINS) and Stage 3(Interview). Applicants who qualify the prelims undergo the next stage.
Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) - Civil Judge Conducting Body:
The TNPSC Civil Judge posts is a State level recruitment exam conducted by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission in Offline mode. This exam is written based on objective type, those candidates who wish to appear and enter for these posts will have to qualify the offline exam. The exam is conducted once every two years.

The Offline examination is of objective type. All the questions will be from Law subject. The language mode of questions will be English. There will be negative marking 1/4th for the wrong answer.

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) - Civil Judge Eligibility criteria:

Entrance Test- TNPSC Civil Judge exam.

Age Criteria: Must be between 22 to 27 yrs old as per their class 10th. Age relaxation to SC/ST and OBC candidates is as per government rules.

Exam frequency: Exam conducted once in two years.

Educational Qualification: Candidates having minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Graduation, Postgraduation from a recognized board are eligible to apply. Marks relaxation to reserved categories as per government rules and regulations.
