Overview
UKPSC Combined Competitive Exam is held by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission. The exam is held for the employment of eligible applicants for the numerous posts in the Ministries and departments in the Government of Uttarakhand. UKPSC Combined Competitive Exam Pattern:
Preliminary Examination:- The Preliminary examination is of Qualifying nature and is held Offline. The time duration of two paper will be 2 hours each. The questions are objective type. The exam pattern is as follows:-

Mains Examination:- The applicants who are shortlisted from the Preliminary examination are allowed to sit for the Mains Examination. The UKPSC Mains examination have papers of Descriptive nature. Following is the exam paper pattern is given below:

Interview:- The candidates who are shortlisted from the mains examinations are called for the Interview. The interview carry 200 marks is taken . The merit list is prepared on a (1500+200) scale.The interview is conducted with the aim to access the awareness, intelligence, problem-solving ability and the suitability of the candidate towards the services.
UKPSC Combined Competitive Exam Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:- 21 to 42 years. The post of DSP, the age limit is 21 to 27 years.

Educational Qualification:- Graduation or equivalent. For the post of DIO(District Information Officer) / Feature writer, the candidates must have Hindi as one of the subjects in Graduation.

Ques 5. Is there negative marking in UPPSC?
Ans. Yes, there is a provision of negative marking. 1/4th of the total mark gets deducted.

Ans. Yes, It carries 200 marks.
Ques 7. How can a applicant download the Admit card?
Ans. A applicant can download the admit card from the official website 10 prior the examination.
Ques 8. Is there any provision of edit the application after submission?
Ans. Some fields can be edited and some can't. To check the details applicants must check the official website.
Ques 9. Is there any optional subject in UPPSC Mains?
Ans. No.

Ans. There are only 2 centres for Mains exam i.e. Haldwani & Haridwar.
