Uttarakhand Teachers Eligibility Test is organized by the Uttarakhand Board of School Education, Government of Uttarakhand. It is a state level test. The exam is held for the employment of eligible and aspiring applicants for the posts of teacher from classes 1 to 8 in the schools of Uttarakhand. UBSE or Uttarakhand Board of School Education is a Government run agency of Uttarakhand entrusted with the duties of prescribing courses of guidance and textbooks and administering examinations for secondary school students in Uttarakhand. It is also accountable for the result announcement of Board examination. It was founded in 2001 and has its head office in Ramnagar. Currently, more than 10,000 schools are affiliated with the Board.

Candidates will be shortlisted from the score secured in the Uttarakhand TET 2019. The final list is prepared based on the category wise cut off marks.Multiple choice type questions are asked in the exam. Each question is for one mark and there is no negative marking. There are two papers in the exam i.e. Paper I and Paper II in which 150 questions are asked. Candidates have to complete the exam in 1 and a half hours

The candidates should pass the upper Secondary examination with at least 50 marks.

It is a relaxation of 45 marks if the candidates belong to a reserved class.

1. Senior Secondary/Higher Secondary (or it's equivalent 10+2) with a minimum 50% score and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.ED)

2.Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent 10+2) with a minimum 50% result and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.ED).

Age Criteria: Applicants should be at least 18 to a maximum of 30 years.

• Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website and register themselves for the test. In this process, some basic information are asked. After providing this information candidates must click on the Register button.

• Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.
