West Bengal Cooperative Service Commission (WBCSC) conducts the various vacancy exam to recruit young and dynamic candidates for Clerk,  Banking Assistant, Assistant Manager, and Cashier posts in various state owned banks. This is a great opportunity for interested candidates who want to join WBCSC. Candidates having Graduation/ Postgraduation are eligible to appear in the exam. Candidates can apply online for the exam on the official website. 

Conducting Body: The WBCSC exam is a state level exam conducted by the West Bengal Cooperative Service Commission. The exam is conducted in offline mode and the candidates who wish to appear for WBCSC must qualify the Offline exam. The exam is conducted once in a year.

Exam Pattern: 

Offline Exam: The exam is conducted in offline mode. The questions are objective type and the total time duration for the exam is 03 hours. The questions consist of General Knowledge, Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning, General English, Computer, Hindi Grammar, and West Bengal History. The total no. of questions are 200 and each question carries 01 mark. 

Note: There is a negative marking. 0.25 marks from the total allotted marks to each question gets deducted for the wrong answer.

• Age limit: The age limit is 21 years to 39 years as per their class 10th. The age relaxation to the SC/ST/OBC candidates is given as per government rules.

• Educational Qualification: Candidates having minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Graduation/ Postgraduation from a recognized university/ institute are eligible to apply.

WBCSC Various Vacancy Exam Application Process

The application form can be filled in Online mode only. Candidates desirous to apply for the test can apply in Online mode from the official website. Following are the steps to apply that must be followed while filling the form:

• Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website and register themselves for the test. In this process, some basic information are asked. After providing this information candidates must click on the Register button.

• Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.

• Application Form Filling: After verification, Candidates can fill the application form through their provided LoginI.d and Password. 

• Uploading Documents: In this step, candidates are asked to upload the scanned copies of their documents. The candidates must submit all the required documents.

• Payment of application fee: The last step is the payment and to apply successfully candidates must make the payment. The payment can be made in online mode.

The WBCSC releases the admit cards for the exam in Online mode. The link of the admit cards are sent to the registered emails and mobile numbers of the candidates. The admit card is a mandatory document for the test and the candidate must carry it to the exam center along with an I.D proof such as Driving License, Voter Card, PAN Card, Aadhar Card.
