The Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test is organized by the Board of Secondary Education Gujarat (BSEG). The aim of this exam is to hire eligible applicants for the posts of teachers in State Government Schools. Candidates will be shortlisted from the score secured in the Gujarat TET 2019. The final list is prepared based on the category wise cut off marks.Multiple choice type questions are asked in the exam. Each question is for one mark and there is no negative marking. There aretwo papers in the exam i.e. Paper I and Paper II in which 150 questions are asked. Candidates have to complete the exam in 1 and a half hours.

The candidates should pass the upper Secondary examination with at least 50 marks.

 A relaxation of 45 marks if the candidates belong to a reserved class.

1.Senior Secondary / Higher  Secondary (or it's equivalent 10+2) with a minimum 50% score and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.ED)

2.Senior Secondary/Higher Secondary (or it's equivalent 10+2) with a minimum 50% result and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.ED).

3. Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent 10+2) with a minimum 50% score and having a Diploma in Education (Special Education), approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India(RCI).

4. 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.ED) or Graduation. 

Age Criteria: Applicants should be between 21 to 30 years.

Language II (English): Understanding based question in English and advancement of language

• OBC male and female-38 years.

• SC / ST male and female-42 years.

• Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.

• Uploading Documents: In this step, candidates are asked to upload the scanned copies of their documents. The candidates must submit all the required documents.
