Afghanistan: Taliban Govt Reopens Universities, Students Welcome Decision

Taliban Ministry of Higher Education has reopened the public universities from Feb 02 in warm areas across the country. In cold areas, the universities will be reopened from Feb 26, informed Abdul Baqi, the Minister of HE.
The student community has welcomed the decision of the Afghan govt.
Earlier, the Govt also made plans to segregate female and male students. The Govt has also announced that the girl students can attend classes up to the 06th grade.
