Assam Education Minister: Free Online Admission service to all private colleges from next year
However, other services will be available from this academic year itself. Excluding colleges under Assam University Silchar, private colleges, and venture colleges, around 1,49,760 students have been admitted to various colleges in Assam.

On Monday, Assam's Higher Education Minister, Ranoj Pegu, announced that starting next year, they plan to offer free online admission services to all private colleges, including ventures. However, other services will be available from this academic year itself. Excluding colleges under Assam University Silchar, private colleges, and venture colleges, around 1,49,760 students have been admitted to various colleges in Assam.
