The Banaras Hindu University has taken the decision to reopen the campus for offline classes. The authorities took the decision, with some exceptions, after a meeting with directors of institutes, deans, and senior officers.



The University will resume the offline classes for all Ph.D. programmes with immediate effect. The University will continue to conduct all the classes of the Institute of Medical Sciences in offline mode.



The University will also continue all the classes for the faculty of Agriculture, faculty of Management Studies, faculty of Veterinary Science, and institute of Environment and Sustainable Development in offline mode.
