Bengal Govt Introduces 4-year UG Honours Course from this Academic Year
On Wednesday, West Bengal declared the introduction of a four-year honours programme/course at the UG level in all government-run and state-aided higher educational institutions from this academic session 2023-24.

On Wednesday, West Bengal declared the introduction of a four-year honours programme/course at the UG level in all government-run and state-aided higher educational institutions from this academic session 2023-24. The higher education department said this decision was taken after holding conversations with all stakeholders and on the basis of the recommendation of a state-appointed professionals panel which advised introducing a four-year undergraduate course from the 2023-2024 academic session.
