The Biden Administration is planning to announce new steps to retain international students specializing in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The effort will be taken as part of its initiative to counter China, notified officials.

Under this initiative, the measures will allow STEM fields specialists to utilize cultural-exchange visas to stay for up to 03 years of training.

A program that allows student visas to stay for an extended duration of training will also cover the areas like cloud computing, data science, and data visualization.
