Canada-based Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship (IRCC) department has recently announced job opportunities for its foreign service division with annual salaries ranging from Rs 43,47,135- ($72,292 ) to Rs 55,00,486- ($91,472).



According to the latest information on the Government of Canada website, workers will be posted in India, China, the Philippines, Turkey, and other countries. These positions are rotational and require every officer to adjust their assignments every 2-4 years at the department's discretion. Those shortlisted for the job and who accept the offer will have to participate in application processing, risk assessment, engagement, and migration diplomacy activities.



According to the listing: As this is an inventory, applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the closing date. Random selection(s) of candidates will happen continuously while the inventory is active. Candidates applying for the job are expected to have an in-depth knowledge of complicated legislation and skills and leadership competencies required to represent Canada globally.



Skills that will make you the right candidate for this job include judgment or analytical thinking, adaptability and flexibility, self-awareness, teamwork and collaboration, values and ethics, cross-cultural sensitivity, dependability, and interactive communication (oral and written). You must be bilingual- proficient in English and French. If the person is not bilingual, he or she will have to undergo language training sessions.
