Commission Selected 11,324 candidates for class III posts in Assam Government
The Commission had obtained requisitions from 47 departments. And following an advertisement published in March 2022, the Commission received around 9,21,634 online applications, and out of these, 8,28,860 candidates appeared in the written examination.

About 11,324 candidates have been successfully chosen for appointment to class III posts under 47 departments of the government of Assam. Ashish Bhutani, Chairman of the State Level Recruitment Commission, told reporters that on the basis of the combined marks of written and skill examinations, the final merit list was prepared against 11,510 posts, and 11,324 candidates were found to be qualified and provisionally selected for appointment.



The Commission had obtained requisitions from 47 departments. And following an advertisement published in March 2022, the Commission received around 9,21,634 online applications, and out of these, 8,28,860 candidates appeared in the written examination.



Written tests were held for three levels of qualifications which contained graduate level (for positions where the minimum mandated qualification is bachelor's degree/bachelor's degree with computer), HSLC level (for posts of driver), and HSSLC level (for positions where minimum qualification is HSSLC/HSSLC in Science).



After the written exam, shortlisted candidates were contacted for the computer skill test, stenography skill test, or driving skill test, Bhutani said. Meanwhile, in a tweet, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that the results for 14,281 vacancies for Grade IV positions in diverse departments will be notified on Thursday, May 4, 2023.



He tweeted: "The journey towards achieving one lakh regular government appointments in Assam continues" The BJP had, in its manifesto before the previous Assam Assembly polls, vowed one lakh government job opportunities to unemployed youths. The appointment letters will be handed over to the victorious candidates at an event commemorating two years of the Sarma-led BJP government in Assam this month.

Tomorrow, (4th of May ) at 11 am, the Recruitment Commission for Grade IV posts will announce the results for 14281 vacancies in various departments.
