Minister of Higher Education and Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Ashwath Narayan informed that the final year exam would be held before the end of September month as per UGC revised guidelines and the intermedial students who are pursuing Graduation, Post-graduation and Diploma courses including engineering would be promoted without examinations. He also mentioned that this decision is applicable for the academic year 2019-20 only.



The intermedial students will be evaluated on the basis of their marks in the previous year/ semester and in internals having a 50:50 ratio and separate arrangements will be made for the students who wish to accomplish better scores.
