To revamp the curriculum in the Agriculture stream, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research is introducing Natural Farming in Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. The Council will introduce the programme in the next academic session.

The Assistant Director-General of ICAR S P Kimothi informed that the education division of the council is still working on framing the natural farming curriculum.

He added, "Since natural farming is a system to improve the efficiency of production and reduce the cost, it is imperative for young professionals in the field to be well-equipped with the knowledge".
