IIT Guwahati Commences Exchange Programmes For Foreign Students

The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati has started special initiatives such as a coursework exchange programme, exchange research work programme, and project work exchange programme. The initiatives have been launched to attract international students to pursue higher studies.



Around 29 international students have currently been enrolled in IIT-G from other countries such as Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Syria, Sudan, Ethiopia, Cameroon, the United Kingdom, and Seychelles.



The Institute has also started a JDP (Joint Degree PhD) programme including a partner Institute abroad for the student to spend at least 12 months at each Institute during the course.
