The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna and France's Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse (Toulouse INP) have taken a significant step in enhancing their academic collaboration by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU). This partnership has been forged based on their recognized strengths in impactful research and the delivery of high-quality education.



India and France share a deep-rooted history of cultural, trade, and economic connections, and this agreement between IIT Patna and Université de Toulouse is poised to strengthen the already robust relations between the two institutions.



The primary objective of this MoU is to foster academic cooperation and mutual understanding, with a strong emphasis on principles of equality and reciprocity. Key elements of this collaboration include the exchange of academic and administrative staff, student exchanges, joint supervision of doctoral studies, collaborative research projects, lectures, symposia, the sharing of resources and materials, and the promotion of academic collaboration in fields of shared interest. Both institutions have also committed to providing internship opportunities to enhance the learning experience.



In addition, IIT Patna and Toulouse INP have outlined plans to jointly organize the exchange of academic and administrative staff and students for short-term programs, focusing on subjects of mutual interest. This MoU signifies a significant stride toward achieving the common goals of both institutions in the realm of research and innovation.
