Intelligence Bureau's Recruitment Drive 2023: Apply for 600 posts

The Intelligence Bureau (IB), a part of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has announced job openings for over 600 positions. The announcement invites applications from qualified and interested candidates for the MHA IB SA/MT and MTS Recruitment 2023. The IB Recruitment Drive 2023 aims to fill 677 vacancies within the organization.
According to the recruitment timeline, the deadline for submitting applications for the positions of Security Assistant or Motor Transport (SA/MT) and Multi-Tasking Staff/General (MTS/General) is set for November 13, 2023. Candidates can register for the MHA IB SA/MT and MTS Recruitment 2023 by visiting the official website- mha.gov.in.
Number of Vacancies
- Security Assistant or Motor Transport (SA/MT): 362 posts
- Multi-Tasking Staff/General (MTS/General): 315 posts
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have a Matriculation (10th class pass) certificate from a recognised board.
- Candidates must hold a domicile certificate of the state against which the candidate is applying
Additional Requirements for SA/MT:
- Candidates must have a valid driving license for Motor Cars (LMV) allocated by the competent authority;
- Candidates must know about Motor Mechanism
- Candidates should know how to remove minor defects in
- the vehicle
- Candidates must have driving experience for at least one year after receiving a valid driving license.
Selection Process
Candidates must appear in Tier-I at one of the 5 centers allotted to them out of their choice of five cities. A negative mark will be there of one-fourth mark for each wrong answer. No marks will be given for questions left unattempted. Also, the questions marked as ‘mark for review’ by the candidates will not be considered for evaluation.
