Over 3,300 Manipur Candidates Appeared for UPSC Prelims Exams in Imphal
An official of the Manipur Public Service Commission said altogether, 4,051 candidates had applied for UPSC preliminary exams at 12 sub-centers in Imphal. But, due to the continued violence, 700 had opted to give the exam at centres outside the state.

Overpowering all the challenges emerging at the violence-hit Manipur, over 3,300 candidates gave the UPSC preliminary exam on Sunday at 12 designated centres. As per the police, there is no untoward incident reported in the state capital since this morning. An official of the Manipur Public Service Commission said altogether, 4,051 candidates had applied for UPSC preliminary exams at 12 sub-centers in Imphal. But, due to the continued violence, 700 had opted to give the exam at centres outside the state.
