Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the significance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) units in Uttar Pradesh. With an unwavering commitment to empowering the masses, he declared that the PM and CM Internship Programmes would extend employment opportunities to seven-and-a-half lakh enthusiastic youth within the state.

His directive to officials emphasized the establishment of Unity Malls in Lucknow, Varanasi, and Agra, catering to the various needs of MSME entrepreneurs.
Amidst the commemoration of International MSME Day-2023, a momentous occasion unfolded as the state government disbursed a staggering sum of Rs 20,000 crore to 3.41 lakh MSME entrepreneurs. This significant investment seeks to foster the overall growth and prosperity of the MSME sector.
Highlighting the transformative journey of the MSME sector, Adityanath acknowledged the pivotal role it plays in providing employment opportunities second only to agriculture. By infusing new life and identity into Uttar Pradesh, the indomitable spirit of MSME entrepreneurs has helped uplift the state's economic landscape.
Uttar Pradesh proudly holds the distinction of being the first state to implement the visionary One District One Product (ODOP) scheme, breathing life into the MSME sector. The chief minister proudly noted that the state has secured Geographical Indication (GI) tags for 52 products, with Varanasi alone boasting 23 such accolades. As the march of progress continues, more products from Uttar Pradesh are poised to gain recognition on both national and global stages, illuminating the timeless treasures of its rich heritage.
Together, under the leadership of Chief Minister Adityanath, the dynamic spirit of the MSME sector intertwines with the aspirations of a vibrant Uttar Pradesh, forging a path of inclusive growth and economic prosperity for generations to come.
