PM Modi Hands Out 51,000 Appointment Letters During Rozgar Mela
As an integral part of the Mission Recruitment initiative, the Central government and select states/Union Territories joined hands to organize Rozgar Melas across the country. This collective endeavor has led to the monthly issuance of job offer letters to numerous enthusiastic young individuals.

On August 28, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a significant step by personally handing out over 51,000 appointment letters during the 8th edition of the Rozgar Mela (Employment Fair). This event saw the distribution of job offers to newly recruited individuals in government departments and organizations, all conducted via video conferencing.



As an integral part of the Mission Recruitment initiative, the Central government and select states/Union Territories joined hands to organize Rozgar Melas across the country. According to the official announcement, these freshly appointed recruits will undertake roles within various CAPFs, contributing to the nation's service through positions such as Constable (General Duty), Sub-Inspector (GD), and Non-GD Cadre Posts spanning diverse organizations under the Ministry of Home Affairs.



The Ministry of Home Affairs held this particular Rozgar Mela, enabling the recruitment of personnel from diverse Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), encompassing renowned entities like CRPF, BSF, Shashtra Seema Bal (SSB), Assam Rifles, CISF, ITBP, and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), along with Delhi Police.



In his address during the Rozgar Mela, Prime Minister Modi urged paramilitary forces to maintain a zest for learning even during their service. He emphasized that the skills imbibed during training courses would mold them into exceptional officers. Furthermore, he encouraged the new recruits to prioritize their physical fitness and well-being throughout their service tenure. This dual emphasis on continuous professional development and physical wellness highlights the comprehensive approach undertaken to cultivate a proficient and robust workforce.



The Rozgar Mela was concurrently carried out across 45 locations nationwide. In his virtual address, Prime Minister Modi highlighted the pivotal changes made in the recruitment process for para-military forces.
