In Mysore, the private schools association has announced holiday for schools on Tuesday to pressurise the govt. to accomplish their several demands such as withdrawal of the 30% fee cut order, reviewing the compulsary promotion of all the students, and the financial assistance to the schools affected by the pandemic. More than 350 schools are participating in the strike.

The management association has urged the school managements to join the strike but the private budget schools are against it.
